IMMT CORE COURSES

Once you complete our preliminary courses, you have access to the IMMT CORE COURSES, which are grouped by area of interest and comprise a series of courses to cover all aspects of Movement & Manual Therapy interventions.

PELVIS

PELVIS 1

This two-day course starts the journey of learning how to assess and treat the pelvic region from a holistic perspective. Biomechanics, visceral influences and movement strategies will all be introduced and give the clinician effective tools to treat this wonderfully complex region.

PELVIS 2

This two-day course integrates manual therapy, foundational movement and manual therapy techniques to assess and treat clients with low back pain.

SPINE

SPINE 1
This two-day course explores thoracic spine from a holistic perspective that blends manual therapy and exercise. The concepts of IMMT will be used to help the practitioner intervene with appropriate manual therapy techniques and movement solutions.

SPINE 2

This two-day course explores the assessment and treatment of the lumbar spine from a blended perspective of manual therapy and exercise. The concepts of IMMT will be used to help the clinician identify what area needs to be addressed and how to choose which techniques and exercises are most appropriate.

SPINE 3

Simplify the complexity of head and neck issues and get practical tools for the cervical spine with this two-day course. In addition, there will be head and face techniques with an introduction to cranial manipulation.

EXTREMITIES

EXTREMITIES 1

This course will cover all relevant anatomy, physiology, biomechanics relating to the feet, ankles, lower extremities and knees and provide you with the ability to expertly assess and treat common injuries.

EXTREMITIES 2

Attend this one of a kind course to learn how to master shoulder and upper extremity rehabilitation by expertly assessing the position, mobility and interrelationships with other body regions and determining when to use manual therapy, movement and loading.

VISCERAL

VISCERAL 1

This course will show how to palpate visceral structures, and how to determine if an individual’s internal structures are a factor in their pain or functional limitations.

VISCERAL 2

This course builds on Visceral 1 and will teach you to fine tune your palpation skills to the next level. Participants will learn to feel the inherent mobility of the organs to help you gain an appreciation for common organ/visceral impairments that often mask themselves as muscle, fascial or joint dysfunctions.

CRANIAL

CRANIAL 1
This course introduces the concept of cranial manipulation. You will learn how to palpate and assess the major bones of the head and face, their mechanics of movement and basic treatment concepts.

CRANIAL 2
This course expands on the first course, going into techniques to affect deeper cranial structures, addressing the membranes, sutures and the deeper structures within the skull.

MOVEMENT

MOVEMENT
This two-day course teaches the optimal way to get your client from the treatment table, to the training floor, to optimal function.
